home at last

It’s always good to go away but it’s great to be home (something like the lines of the song). We have two little granddaughters with us and I can honestly say we are completely exhausted.

A day spent with two young and very energetic ladies is somewhat exhausting, by the time we have dressed (9.30 am) fed the animals (10.00 am) fed ourselves (10.30 am), we just about manage to get out for lunch time. Not surprisingly we aren’t hungry when we ordered some lunch and very tired again by the time we sat down at the theatre to watch cbeebies, which I learnt to spell this weekend.

Now we have two hyperactive children whom Grandad is trying to persuede to go to sleep.
